CCTV and Vehicle Camera Use

Some vehicles in our fleet may be fitted with dashcams or interior CCTV cameras for safety and evidence purposes. Installation is at the discretion of individual drivers and not mandated by EZ Cabs.

• Audio is not recorded.

• Footage is stored securely by the driver or vehicle owner and may be retained for up to 30 days, unless required longer for investigation.

• Vehicles with cameras will display clear signage notifying passengers.

How Long We Keep Your Data

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary:

• To fulfil bookings and resolve disputes

• To comply with legal or regulatory obligations

• For accounting, auditing or business recordkeeping purposes

Typically, booking data is retained for up to 6 years in line with HMRC guidance.
